Gyminee experience
A) Since I had to track my food daily, I learned that I do not eat a balanced diet. I eat a lot of the same high fat highly caloric foods. I learned that I am not drinking enough water or eating enough vegetables and fruit. I need to expand my food intake to include a wider variety of healthier foods. B) I learned that I am not working out nearly as long or as hard as I have the potential to do. When I have to input calories burned, I feel like I could have burned more calories if I would have pushed myself more. I have found that I like to do the same routine over and over and that I should try new things for my body. C) Gyminee is a great tool for helping you see the problems with your diet and nutrition. Gyminee did help me to see what foods were lacking in my diets and be encouraged by others who were working out and eating healthy. I would say that I achieved a part of my goals with working out more and losing weight. Gynimee gave me the boost I needed to start. I know I can do better. D) I will probably not continue my gyminee account at least right now, because I do have the time for it. I may use it to find calories in food or for good workouts in the future. I think it it pretty cool and I will definitely tell people about it since I had never heard of it before. E)Gyminee is a great tool for achieving your goals. The buddy system is cool as well as great workouts to choose from! It's a fun site and I am glad that I was able to get involved in it for a time period!

Great job encouraging the Gyminee member who was just starting back into exercise... telling them to take it slow and meet the daily recommended physical activity guidelines was excellent. Really displayed a knowledgeable response. Also, I loved your 300 calorie snack ideas! :) Hopefully you also got some good ideas with your post about wanting to lose 30 lbs. Seems like the consensus was HIIT (high-intensity, interval training). :)

Thanks for all the great suggestions on the kinds of variety I can add to my cardio workout to help me from getting bored. Re: your motivations - it may have been more effective to send words of encouragement that sounded less cliche and more authentic. Relevant feedback is always more integral to keeping people feeling validated and enthusiastic. But in the end, as long as the GymBuddies felt more motivated, that's all that matters! :)
