    making up hurts

Here's the thing I didn't think about when doing both chest and legs together - If you do chest first, it is absolutely exhausting to pile on all the weights you'll need for legs. Just, you know, FYI.

    first workout skipped

Since I started working out 5 days a week, this past Friday was the first day I skipped. It wasn't intentional. I just had friends in town, and hung with them all day. Meant to make up for the workout over the weekend, but the gym was closed earlier than I expected. Gonna try and do chest and legs together today to make up for it. It's gonna be a sore week.

    Legs.

I'm sitting on the 5th floor of my building's walk-up, an hour after my leg workout. This is gonna be brutal. 29k lbs later, and I've gotta shower and walk back down them again. Since I worked Quads harder than anything else (squats, leg press, extensions...), the walk down is much hard than the walk up. I can tell I'm gonna need to keep on myself about my abs more too. I'm pushing and straining a lot more than i would like.
