mherauf sent the following motivation to wryder: Anywhere from 2-5lbs per week can be considered healthy weight loss, and in some cases even more. Too bad you have the flu though, stay on top of it and it's time to set a new goal! Nice work!

About Me
(July 15 2008)--> So I finally decided to make some changes: Eat better, eat less, and exercise every day. So far so good . . . but if I give up alcohol someone please kill me. (February 16 2009)--> After about four months of serious weight loss I'm now trying to bulk up without adding much fat (started in late November), explaining the V shape of my progress curve. (May 30, 2009) --> Well I seem to be able to maintain my weight with the new plan. Lots of exercise and lots of food in the right ratios. A few injuries (football, weights, etc.) have delayed some progress but I'm still very happy with my efforts since July. (August 02, 2009) --> Just over a year in and I've been able to keep my fat content at half of what I started. Four months of fat loss, 8 months of strength training, and 12 months of controlled nutrition seems to have worked. I lost 35lbs, and gained back 15 lbs of fat-free mass. Diet and exercise, go figure.
