White rice
Just discovered the white rice I had saved in my favourites was twice the calories etc of the USDA version per cup. Have just been back and changed all of the previous records as I assume the official figures were correct. They were certainly more average. Annoying really as this means I've been stressing that I haven't been eating that much for the number of calories I was recording. I eat white rice a lot too. Hey ho. Sorted now though.

So my calories have come down quite a lot but it's been days since I went to the gym. Grrrr! Today today!

Networking events are a nightmare for food journal writing. Can I remember all the bitty little things I ate last night? Do I really want to know how many calories were in them? What a pain!

Interesting...
So in spite of my not hitting my calorie goals this week I have apparently lost weight. Awesome! Goes to show what a little exercise does for you. This is a fun little experiment.

remarkable...
A simple thing like calculating calories on this site as I go through the day has enabled me to be moderate yesterday when we ordered a curry for dinner. Normally I would have gorged. Yay! What's more I went to the gym even though I was still a bit sore from last time. Also yay!
