    B a n a n a s Bananas

Thanks Bubby. I haven't gotten around to adding in what I had for dinner last night...but I don't think I'm gonna make the caloric intake goal...I keep falling way too short. Pfft. I must need to eat like all the time or something. I'm going to look over your logs though...and look at that banana creame..sounds so yummy.

    Brotherly Influence

So I've decided to join here after an enlightening and invigorating conversation with my beloved brother. He has been working at maintaining his health on a regular basis, thereby controlling our disease much better than I am. (I've collapsed 3 times in the last month because I've no control over my insulin levels.) I figure that if he is capable of working a high stress job, caring for a child, going to school and still finds time to exercise, than I best be getting on the ball because I can't have him surpassing me at everything. ~Grins enthusiastically at my own attempt at sibling jibing.~ We've moved out of the dreary months here, the sun is shining. I figure there has never been a better time to strengthen the beauty and longevity of my temple than when I can see the budding green of the honey locust trees. About Me

I'm a earth loving, pagan, Early Childhood Education and Anthropology Student who just happens to have diabetes and a serious need to get healthy. My body is my Temple and I've let it become shabby and drear. To me health is an overall experience and I want to participate fully in it. I'd like to take up swimming, yoga, and hiking again, all of which are activities I enjoy that give me a sense of spiritual connectivity through my body, to the rest of the world. I wish to revitalize my physical form in the same way I revitalize my spirit. Wishing health and well being, Reinava
