Tattled On
My wife called my workout partner to tell her that I was planning on skipping my workouts today. I then received a phone call a little later and was scolded for even thinking of letting my workout partner down. I then proceeded to get my but in gear and do my workouts. I just finished both of them. NO! I do not feel better that I did them, but I did not let my partner down. I hope she is not letting me down while she is on her trip. Eat healthy baby!

Tired
I'm feeling so tired from these workouts and dieting. I know my body will eventually adjust, but right now I am dragging. I can't wait until I am over the hump on this.

Pissed Off
Smith is super pissed off that he only lost .6 pounds. That sucks! I busted my ass this week working out 5 days and being well within my low calorie goals. I have three guesses as to why this has come to pass. 1. When I weighed myself, I had drunk quite a bit of water that day and water probably retaining quite a bit of it from the excess sodium I had at lunch. 2. I am taking in way more protein then I have in the past. This is probably keeping on some of the weight, which is a good thing. The hope would be that I am turning fat into muscle, which does weigh more. 3. I could be working harder during my cardio sessions. My heart rate is already pretty low and I might not be getting it high enough to really burn off those excess pounds. I will be working harder this week and trying to focus on the continued health benefits I am after and not a specific weight. Roar!
