    africa

    i'm in africa and i've been going to the gym 2x a day (before and after work). i just weighed myself today and i'm down to 209 which is 1lb lighter than my goal was. pretty freaking happy. just 20 lbs more to go probably until i'm at my goal weight.

    Amazing

    Woot!!! I went to Italy and ate lots of Gelato and Red Wine. I guess that was offset by all the walking and the daily workouts because I managed to lose 8 lbs while I was there. Since I came back I have been riding my bike 10+ miles each day and running in the morning along with some weight lifting and abs and now I'm down to 218lbs. I'm so close to my second goal of 210 at this point!!!!!

    Plateau

    I'm in such a rut.... Hovering around 229/230 for the last two weeks. Went biking and played football. Stretch X and Yoga X yesterday. Today I did Kenpo X and about to do shoulders and arms. My knees, hamstrings, and ankles are killing me. I really hope this passes soon so that I can really get back at it. I am proud of myself, though, because I've managed to work through all this pain and soreness lately.

    Back...

    Right before Thanksgiving I was in China for work and ended up on a project where I was working 7am until 1am every single day, especially for the last week before Thanksgiving. Plus I ended up getting a bad chest infection because of the pollution in China, which stuck with me up until about Christmas time. Over that period I went all the way back up to 237 lbs... (a 12 lb gain from September). I started feeling really crappy (knees hurting, no energy, etc) again and so once the new year began I got right back to it with my P90X and my trustee slimming formula. Since then I have been doing pretty well and have managed to lose about 7 lbs. I am seriously looking forwards to getting back below 230 lbs. I am hoping to mix in some running (got my Nike+) and biking into my regimen when home and keep using P90X and more Insanity while traveling. I'm still pretty far from my eventual goal to be at or below 200 but that 225 limit is one I have touched a few times in the last year and I know I am just going to have to push on through it. One year of my weight loss dedication and I have dropped a total of 25 lbs. It's only about 2lbs a month which is pretty small if you think about it. I know I am going to have to take it day by day and look for inspiration to keep motivated on the days that get tough. Wish me luck!

    Slimming formula...

    The slimming formula constantly made me feel dizzy when standing. It must have been effective though because I dropped to 220 over the course of three weeks... I am having a lot of trouble getting below this 225/220 level in a meaningful way. My goal has been 215 by the time of my cruise since February and I am now close to both the goal and the cruise..
