About Me
April 2009-> I’ve been working out “religiously” since January this year. You can find me at the gym at 6am Tuesday-Friday and around 8 or 9 am on the weekends, I’m a morning person so this schedule works best for me. I started with interval training and then slowly progressed through weights. So far, I’ve lost about 4 inches around my chest, waist, hips and thighs. The changes feel great and have given me that extra confidence boost that I needed. I’m also experiencing less back and neck pain than when I wasn’t working out. My main goal is to lose body fat. My initial evaluation set me at 28% BF and I’m looking to lower that percentage to 25%, ideally I’d like to go all the way down to 20% but I’m taking it one step at a time. I’m starting the Turbulence Training program this month and will be looking forward to blasting all that belly fat!

Well, hello!
Hey there buddy! Funny that you left me a post today...I was just getting ready to do the same. I sort of fell off the grid for a while. My son got very sick in late April/March and I had to have two minor surgeries, which left me sore and depressed. With the stress of it all I was totally comfort eating and fell out of exercising, and gained back five pounds. :( But, now I'm back! I just bought myself the Nike+ sport kit for my iPod as an incentive to get me back on the running trail. It's really, really cool. That's awesome that you are getting back into swimming! I saw your post asking for good info. A favorite site of mine recently had some tips that you might like to read. Here the link: http://www.fitsugar.com/2805107. Hope all is well!

Swimming!
Hello again!!!! I'm back! Winter is almost over in the southern hemisphere so I am thinking about getting back at the gym. I went back yesterday and decided to give swimming a try... I must admit the last time i did some serious swimming was back in 6th grade or something like that... I started out slow.. only managed to swim 16 laps in 30 mins but it was fun! I´m thinking about getting a coach so that I can work on the styles but I'm debating on whether I should do it now or wait till I get back from my month-long trip to the US comming up in 3 weeks... Do any of you know of a good swimming blog or website? Most of the stuff I found was either way too technical for a newbie or just outdated... Hope to hear from you guys soon!
