Gumbo...
Gumbo...mmmmm. I love gumbo. Good info though. I was going to make some 4HB, but I think I will hold off until I can get more in a groove.

Gumbo does not a slow-carb menu make
Interesting results over the past few days... Friday was treat day. Had gumbo with rice and a piece of cornbread. Only a couple good beers, and a bunch of really good dark chocolate. Kept it pretty tame, I thought. But there was leftover gumbo. And everyone knows that it only gets better after sitting overnight. I figured I'd just have a couple bowls sans rice and cornbread. After all, the major ingredients: chicken, sausage, okra & tomatoes are all good. There was just that little issue of the roux. Gluten free roux to be sure, but still. I'm guessing that's what "holding me up" here these few days. I'm not weighing mine like Tim did ;-), but I have noted that unlike the five or six movements per day I'd been experiencing since starting 4HBSCD, these last two days there have only been one or two. Good news is I've done my part to get rid of the remaining gumbo, so straight slow-carb once again. We'll see what happens.

Holy crap!
I had to guestimate a few things and make a few substitutions (like the pizza from the tavern, no way to know exactly) but wound up with over 6,500 cals for the day! Wow, that's more than double my daily average. Anyway, as expected, the loss I showed the day after was definately from dehydration. Picked up four lbs by the following morning, and eliminated two during the day. I suspect that similar to my first two days of 4HB slow-carbing, I may eliminate a further two today as Sundays intake clears the tract, which should put me right back around where I was the day before Go Wild. I deliberately went buck wild with this first go wild day, futures wont be quite as extreme. The beer for instance was the amount I might have normally consumed over the course of a week, consumed instead in a single afternoon. That wont become a habit.
