    The HFMD Diet

    I don't recommend it, though it seems effective. I've been down with Hand Foot & Mouth Disease (runs through preschools) and it causes mouth blisters. Makes eating difficult and not enjoyable & viola lost some pounds. But I'm hungry!! And ready to eat real food again!

    Empanada dough

    I saw you posted a recipe for empanada dough that doesn't use trans fats. Sounds like I'll have to try it out! Good one! (All the frozen stuff in the store has trans fats.)

    Knoxville Marathon Relay

    I just found 3 friends to run the Knoxville Marathon Relay with me next spring! There are 3 legs around 6 miles and one that is 8 miles, I may go for the 8 mile one. Off to search for training programs...

About Me

I'm a mom of two and love working out... if only I had free time and free babysitters! But I have a supportive husband who helps me make sure I get to work out. I found my old stats from when I worked out with a trainer 10 years ago. My original goals were to get to where I started with him. Now I've reached that, so my new goals are where I ended when I stopped working out with him (moved). I actually didn't lose much weight, but lost about 5% body fat & 5 inches. (on this site I track my hips under the shoulder chart). & I'm doing it without a trainer! Let's see how this goes....
