I guess having a pint of Ben & Jerry's as a meal today while still staying under 1700 calories is not the worst thing I've ever done, except that I'D ALSO HAD A PINT LAST NIGHT FOR DINNER. :: smh :: Two pints for $7 at the grocery store, and this is what happens. I have no will power; why do I continue trying to pretend that I do? No more pints in the house. If I want B&J, I need to go to a scoop shop.

Yeah, so yesterday really happened. More calories consumed than I normally would in *three* days. Causes? Being on the road unprepared (prepwork takes so much time!). Not eating breakfast until hours after I'd woken up -- I felt ravenous and didn't want to wait the length of time it would take to make the omelette I'd planned, and it was all downhill from there. Also, sleeping only 4-5 hours a night for days and days on end really depletes my energy, so I'm guessing this was my body's way of re-fueling in the face of sleep deprivation.

Woke at 7:30a after 4.5 hrs sleep. Glad I didn't sleep in, but should have fallen asleep earlier. No more caffeine after 3pm. Need to get serious about shifting 2st. To achieve this: - eat breakfast daily (within an hour of waking) - sleep 7.5 hrs nightly (in bed by midnight 6 of 7 nights/week) - no more picking up food on the go - no more caffeine after 3pm (hoping for gradual elimination of all but morning tea and social coffee) - concerted exercise 5 or 6 days/week (week 1 of intensive cardio, moving to balance of cardio, strength, yoga, pilates later?) - set hourly alarm to move from computer for 5 min
