First goal met!
Well, it is the end of the first week of May. I had set for myself to get down to 299 by today. I had doubts that I would make it a few days ago. However, I woke up this morning, got on the scale and bam, 299. Very excited. Now, I am going to have my goals set to 10 pound increments. Will be easier to visualize and require shorter periods of time to attain.

Just 6 To Go
Well, my initial goal of dropping under 300 by the end of the first week of May is coming near. I am 6 pounds away from my initial goal and I am hopeful that I may actually make it. If not, I'm sure I will within a week of there. Either way, it will be a good milestone to have reached. I think for my subsequent goals I will be doing more shorter term ones, in 10 lbs increments. Perhaps my first will be 10 lbs by June. I suppose that depends on how close to my goal I make it, as I may be leaving myself too little time. We'll just have to see.

Best thing about
Going on a trip to a city is that if you skip the cab, you're not in any way neglecting your workout schedule. Makes me wish I had a town to wander nearer to me that I had a good reason to do so. Seems living where I do it is simply inconvenient to walk anywhere. Here it is encouraged just by how much harder it is to drive and park.
