    Trying...

So... seems like the UP is giving issues... hope they fix the battery problem soon! I lost about 5 pounds while on vacation with the inlaws... but now that I'm back in the real world, I've gained two of those back... I think the main key for me is getting ample sleep... which I have NOT been doing lately... So, that's one of my big goals for weight-loss. The other one is really asking myself the key question... "Am I actually hungry, or do I just want something to shove in my mouth?" because I Was really good about not eating when I wasn't hungry while on vacation. But I think it's a little harder to monitor that when short on sleep, and busy with work... and back in bad routines and habits. So! I'm going to try to break bad habits, and really monitor myself on an internal level. And maybe try to watch less TV. I think I eat more when I watch TV. So, lots of changes, but no "New Year's Resolutions" because I don't believe in those. ;)

    UP!

Got the Jawbone UP a few days ago. I love being kept accountable for exactly how much I have or have not moved in the day. The age of lying to myself about my movement seems to have come to an end. Now if only it would communicate with DailyBurn!!!

    Regal Popcorn

Hi, I've been using your Small Regal Popcorn data for some time and realized the data they provided you with at Regal is wrong. If you use the carb, fat, and protein grams and multiply by the respective cal/gm of 9 for fat and 4 for protein and carbs, the unfortunate result is 576, not 480. Bummer. I called Regal and tried to get an explanation but could not find anyone by phone or emails that understood what I was talking about. Oh well, good luck :)

    Hats off!

Yoplait usually add high fructose corn syrup and artificial colors to their yogurts (or at least they used to -- i haven't looked recently!) Yesterday I picked up some of their parfait on a whim (shopping hungry... not a good idea), and was very pleasantly surprised to find that it has sugar (not high fructose corn syrup) AND is colored with turmeric and annato, rather than the artificial stuff! Not to mention, the containers aren't their normal yogurt shaped containers, so I'm not so worried about having to crush them before I put them in the trash so animals don't get their heads caught inside them! So seriously, hats off to yoplait for finally making a product I'm prepared to eat again!
