    Thanks for asking

Had managed to keep the weight off till recently - fell and small parts of my fibula fractured off (I'm pretending the boot weighs 9lbs). My husband & I are going to a fitness spa next week - where I can participate in the pool activities for exercise & physical therapy. I really appreciated your email made me realize I need to get moving :)

    Finally stopped by

Hi, I finally "stopped by" after reading a lot of your great forum posts. Hey, I just looked at your before and after pictures and wow! I know you feel like you've "slid" a bit, but overall you have made fantastic progress and a really great change, amazing! Hang in there,. remember what it used to feel like when you were 240+ and knew you had 70+ lbs to loose to get healthy? You are nowhere near there, so loosing 25 lbs, no sweat! OK, maybe that's a poor choice of words! LOL! :)

    Sigh ... still derailed

Just back from my latest travels to London England and Athens, have managed to pack on a bunch of weight on that trip and still haven't seen the kind of progress I know I can make. It's an interesting time too, because we're at about the 1 year anniversary of my all time low weight of about 155, and I am clocking in at almost 180 - 25 lbs heavier. Still much better than where I started at 240+ but ... it's been a poor year for weight loss. Two days of focus so far and I need to plan to keep it up.

    Thanks from red-punkin

I enjoyed reading the Hacker's Diet. It really helped. Sounds like you had a nice vacation:). And, it's really inspirational to see that you're ready to get back on track. Hope I will do the same after my husband & I take our vacation.

    Back from Vacation

Well we got away from the cold for 12 days by going to sunny barbados, where the all-inclusive food was expansive and the resulting work backlog when I got home meant two more weeks of being totally off-track. Excuses, excuses! Yikes! However, I'm back now, determined to get with the program once again...
