Working on reducing sat fat content
As a reminder to myself, the meal plan for today (April 17, 2009) is only 8.6 g sat fat, keeping under 10 as the goal. Easy to duplicate this day's meal plan on other days.

I haven't have a drink in months. I usually save them for a special occasion. I will preface the following statement with I am no nutritionist, but, alcohol has 7 calories per gram (as opposed to 4 for protein and carbs). Plus alcohol slows down your metabolism for a period of time which hinders your ability to burn fat, etc, etc...all reasons why I stay away from the wine and beer (even though I love it so).

I guess I just don't drink that often. I typically only drink when I am on the road (company pays) and then I usually only have a couple of light beers with dinner. I do put it in the system, but since I don't drink that much it doesn't really add up. I would suggest that you keep track of your drinks in system, because every calorie makes a difference. Good Luck!
