SACFIT & Calorie Counting Week #16: 4-23-12
Final week of taper off period before Parkway 1/2 Marathon. Ran 8 miles last Saturday. Finished run around Noon and it was getting a bit warm out. Legs and knees were tired but recovery was fast. 3 running days this week before run on Saturday. Will work on non to low impact cardio this week to help with Saturday.

SACFIT & Calorie Counting Week #15: 4-17-12
Missed last two Saturday group runs, spiraling down hill right before race day. :( Still have rest of this week and next to pick up the slack. Hopefully I can do it. Last run was 5miles on treadmill at gym last Thursday. Work shift kicking my ass in the sleep world. Tried to drink short can of coffee drink before gym yesterday and it gave me a stomach ache. Going to try 5 hr energy once I get home today. Need to push through morning, kids need to picked up early.

SACFIT & Calorie Counting Week #14: 4-9-12
No weights since mid-end of March. Feeling muscle groups are already back to the way they were before starting. Past week I was out of town visiting Mom and no time or area to complete mid week runs. Total set back in running this past couple weeks. Missed 7M@HMP on Saturday group run.

SACFIT & Calorie Counting Week #13: 4-2-12
13 miler on Saturday was rough. Only managed to get one mid week run in. Head winds were strong in both directions for storm clouds were moving into area. By mile 10 my legs were feeling way tired and done. Rain started in during mile 11 so last few miles were hard to manage with freezing weather.

Skipped Saturday 6 mile run for visit with Dad and Shirley. Only got one maint run this past week.
