RE: Reflections
It sounds like your regular concerns from the beginning has been about 'motivation' and how to stay committed to healthy choices. Well, you're certainly not alone because everyone struggles with that!! If you focus on how your efforts pay off each time you do something healthy, instead of how you have to be healthy all the time... that might help it seem less overwhelming and much easier to make healthier choices in the moment. :) Have a wonderful spring!!

A) What are the pros and cons about using a website like this where you can track exercise and nutrition? - I think that the pros about this site are that tracking your nutrition and exercise programs REALLY makes you aware of what you are eating and how you are exercising. A lot of people mistake their real amounts of nutrition in food and like to exaggerate about how much they are really getting up and doing something about their exercising habits. I also think its a pro that there are many more ideas for work out schedules listed in this site that I had not even thought of. It helps keep the motivation up and the workouts seem to be more fun. A con is that if you are too busy that day or week to even make it to the computer room, you really are not doing a very good job keeping an accurate log of your eating and workouts. I have had this problem. B) Were you able to meet some of your SMART goals? If not, why not? I was able to meet my goals in terms of changing my nutrition and I think that is because after logging the forst week or so of meals I became very much more aware of what I was actually eating day to day and what the percentages were of fat and carbs and such. I think this helped me change mine and my fiance's diet for some time to come. C) Anything else you’d like to add… I just really enjoyed all the things I learned about my own habits in this class and I really like the layout of this website and am sure I will continue to use it in my own free time.

Hey! already addressed the food one in YOUR journal! :) and about the pilates? Oh man let me tell you. I LOVE IT! its just enough cardio and breathing to work up a sweat, BUT it also combines core strength training and muscle toning. I find that I lose inches very quickly with just a little over 20 mins a day of pilates. That is WHEN i do it daily.

HEY! its going! Just been under the weather for about oh, two weeks now...and feeling nauseous all of the time. This pretty much explains why I haven't logged exercises that much. I already have the no soda and sweets taken care of...I've never been much of a fan, but BOY i love pizza and hot wings hahaha! I'm glad to see I am not alone in this category. Thank you for your motivation its really nice to hear. Try opting for a salad sometime, just make it a REALLY tasty one!! hehe. It helps me. Take care and hang in there man!

Motivators...
I chose aperezjr and justiss to motivate. I commended them on their weight loss and calorie goals as well as answered some questions. What continues to motivate me is honestly just wanting to be more healthy. As of late, I am having terrible health issues and do not want to do ANYTHING that could make this worse or more difficult to control. So eating healthier and taking vitamins seem to be under control. But with being nauseous about 80% of every day, its making it very difficult to stay on track with the exercising. I guess we cant win them all. The one workout I was able to do this week was my pilates. I think because I can accomplish this exercise without feeling more sick it kept me motivated. During the exercise I just focus on my breathing deeply in and out at the correct times to keep up the motivation.
