    Wii Fit

    Being a die hard gym rat I have never thought of the Wii Fit as any sort of replacement for a gym membership. I still don't but having said that I got my hands on a Wii and Wii Fit Plus 9 days ago and as well as the Wii Fit Plus games I've been doing My Fitness Coach Cardio Workout which is a boxing game based on Golds Gym. In that 9 days I've lost 6 pounds! which is good for me with my stupid thyroid thing so I'm maybe changing my opinion slightly!!! It's also a lot of fun - I'm great at table tennis apparently :D I'm moving back home in a couple of weeks and will be without gym for a while as I make the transition. So at least I know I'm burning some calories still. And maybe I can get my sister back into running with me like we used to.

    Well I'm getting back into the swing of things - am not lifting anywhere near the amounts I was lifting before but hopefully I'll get back to normal.

    Hiya!

    Yep, I'm OK thanks. Had a little wake-up call on the old cholesterol again, so I've upped the cardio and am trying to cut down a wee bit oin the goodies. Alas beer is my Achilles heel. Still chasing after the dream of having abs to prove my wife wrong :o) Apart from that, life is tickety-boo within reason at the moment. Hope you're OK now and wish you well. Take care.

Well I'm a computer geek from the UK, between degrees and between jobs at the moment! I have a BSc (Hons) in Games Computing (Software Development). I practice martial arts and love weight lifting. I started putting a lot of weight on in my early twenties even though I was quite active, It's taken doctors 10 years to find out there is a problem! I love weight lifting, I took it up as a hobby a while ago and I love how powerful and strong it makes me feel. It makes me feel good about my body for the first time. I also love Martial Arts having studied various types of Martial Art most recently being on my University Shito-Ryu Karate squad.
