Awesome! Any jogging is better than none and it will start to build up your endurance. Pretty soon, you'll be able to start adding extra intervals in (two short jogs with a nice long recovery walk in between). That way you're not having to bust out 5 minutes straight of jogging until you're ready. Congrats on meeting your walking goal too!

Hola!
Good luck with your fitness goals! Looks like your measurements are already starting to come down! It's always a challenge getting started again and staying motivated for the first few weeks. Not sure if you're interested in running, but if so and you haven't already checked it out, the Couch-to-5K plan on coolrunning.com helped my fitness level immensely. I could barely make it through the 60-second jogs when I first started it but it builds you up gradually over weeks to jogging 30 minutes straight.

hate being sick
This is the story of my life... up down up down. Tomorrow it will probably be down... I have been sick since late Wednesday. Doesn;t look like I am going to be able to join the YMCA this school semester. I have to have 12 credits, I think, and I am only going to have 9. I can't afford the $60 for "non" student. Even though I am a student, to get the discounted price, I have to have 12 credit hours. It's stupid and kind of heart breaking. But, I can keep walking, drinking slim fast, eating yogurt and drinking more water then soda. Now, the willpower...
