Wow - just got back - agin :-(

I've been out for a month due to pinch nerve in back and shoulder. But I plan to try on Tuesday and see how it goes if there isn't much pain - although the chiro guy told me not to do anything if I still feel pain. Boy oh boy being out sucks. I'm so desperate to work out I'm not sure if I should go or follow his advice.

Great to have some direction and actually use this site! Can't wait until next Tuesday to start. Meanwhile, I'll still do some running and stairclimbing until then!

First Day. SHould it count ha!

Wow -- I was only able to incline on the treadmill at 15.0, for about 20 minutes at 3.5 mph - only burning about 200 calories. Then I began crunches, of which I did a minimum amount because my muscles in my stomach began to strain, felt as if I pulled a stomach muscle...

    Disappointment.

I'm disappointed in my weight gain. I'm back where I was 3 years ago because I decided to let other things get in my way, and let a lack of results push me further away from eating right and exercise. Honestly, I'm just glad that I am still alive, and plan to make immediate changes to hopefully get me back where I belong. I'm very ashamed, but at the same time, have no where to go but up (which means down in this case).

    It's rough out there

Back at it again. I guess it really is about the mind state, and you really are what you eat. Thanks to binging over the last 6 months, I'm at 233.4 lbs, Cholesterol is at 228, and blood sugar is high. HIGH. I've been to a personal trainer - twice. Both times lost the wait (as low as 207) but blew back up both times. What a waste of money. No, what a waist of money. So now I know what to eat and which exercises to perform, but it's the will power that is the real weakness. After paying money to be with a personal trainer, there's got to be a way to personally train yourself not to rely on the personal trainer. I think that part is tougher than all of the exercises in Daily Burn's database combined.

About Me

What can I say? It's been tough. I've let things get in the way of my health over the last 3 years, but now, I hope to change all of that. I'm glad I'm still alive and plan to make a difference in my life.
