    In the 20's

Well, I'm in the 220's now, pretty excited about that. This week I plan on increasing the exercise intensity. I'm going to do CrossFit (if my body can handle it) M, W, and F, and do some morning cardio Tues, Wed, and Saturday (rest on Sunday). My hope is that this much exercise will give me a bit more of a boost this coming week, and keep my metabolism up!

    Progress Updates

Firstly, thanks for the words of encouragement, @Barz. Secondly, things have been going great the past month or so. My keto diet has been going excellent, and I've been feeling healthier, more energetic, and much happier than normal. Furthermore, my weight has been consistently decreasing, and my pant size has dropped a lot over the past few weeks. Only about 55lbs left to go till 175!

Starting Tomorrow, I'm On My Way to 180

I made up my mind last week that starting this Monday I'm going to be on my strict ketogonic diet till I hit 180lbs. No exceptions, no nothing. I'm going to eat < 50g carbs per day (max), and maintain deep purple ketosis so that I force my metabolism to convert fat to energy, therefore sparing my muscle tissue. This will be a big transition from my current glocose-based metabolism which forces my body to burn up fat tissue and muscle tissue once my body's glucose reserves have been exhausted. To enter ketosis I'm following this guide: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=132598293 I'm going to start off slow with the exercise regiments since I'm going to have a lot on my plate already. I'm going to start with some simple cardio in the mornings before breakfast for a few days (which means I'll be waking up early again), and getting it out of the way early in the day to burn off any excess glucose in my bloodstream. The supplements I'm going to be taking on a daily basis are: 1. Fish Oil (for overall health). 4000mg omega 3 2. Caffine. Probably take 250mg when I wake up, and (optionally) 250mg with lunch to help keep my metabolism up, and give me some energy while I'm adjusting to ketosis. For foods I'm going to attempt to pre-plan all my meals for the week, and purchase everything the weekend prior. I'm going to go with a lot of chicken, broccoli, and onions for my primary meals. I'll probably get a bit of sirloin steak for frying with veggies as well. And beef jerkey / meat sticks / seeds for snacks if I need them. I've also got some protein drinks in my fridge which are 0 carb, 50g protein fruit punches. I'll likely use those to satisfy my sweet tooth if I need them.

    Next Goal

My next goal is to hit 229. Why? Because Sami and I had a bet for that number. If I win, I get some clothes, or something like that. I kinda forget actually.
