Adjustments! :D
I was getting tired of Daily burn growling at me for my calories being fine, but my numbers for carbs and protein being skewed. This is going to happen if you're getting your protein from grains and beans and such. So, I looked up dietary recommendations for vegans and vegetarians and adjusted my numbers, which daily burn actually makes pretty easy to do. So, now I'm allowed about 65% of my calories to be from carbs, 20% from fats, and 15% from protein, which seems to be more in line with what you want if your protein sources are plant-based. I'm going to try this for a bit and see if it seems to work well, but I'm happy that Daily Burn lets me do this! :)

Thanks ;)
Yah, I think it would be a longshot for me to try to assume my manic running days when I was in uni. So I just hope to keep up a constant training regime that doesn't have me injure myself or even put me off altogther. Also, I need to watch what I'm eating as I've been to leniant in what I eat and how much I eat. Hopefully daily burn would remind me of the nutrition and fellow runners like yourself to keep me in the game for longer ;) ---- I think you're right in that you should slowly get back into running from the ITBS injury. And with you're healthy eating plan, you're definitely on the right track.

Going Veg
Hey, thanks for joining me in my challenge. I've always known being a vegetarian is good for you but haven't had the willpower to do it. Even if you still eat some meat it's still much needed at lower rates of consumption. Still, the veggies will give you the energy directly. Gd luck, and I hope you stick to it :)

Going Veg
I'm switching to a primarily vegetarian/vegan diet. I'm hoping this will increase the veggie content of my diet and, if I stick to recipes lower in fat, also help me control my calories. I am planning on still eating meat on occasion, particularly when out. We'll see how this goes! :)
