As expected
The scale is punishing me for my excesses yesterday. Not to worry, 3 hrs of climbing this morning followed by some cardio and antagonistic muscle workout this afternoon, and lotsa water to flush all the sodium and I should be shortly back on track... 4lbs and 1.5% bf in 2 days is not "real" but still discouraging.

Crossfit followup
What a sketchy, fly-by-night, shit operation. You get from their website the feeling they're intense, military-styled, organized and modern... couldn't be further from the truth. You signup on their site to register for classes and give them contact info (email, phone, cell, etc). One would think that, should your introductory class be cancelled because the "instructor isn't available", that they'd use some of this technology to contact you and let you know... You may think that, but you'd be wrong. *sigh* The silver lining is that I used my focused-on-exercise mind and went to the Y for a workout, didn't spend any money at a new gym and instead capitalized on my pre-existing investment in the Y 2 blocks from my house.

Binge Day
OMG... did I ever just eat a LOT! AYCE sushi, followed by sorbetto in a waffle cone... I'm pretty sure I accounted for everything, and I still have a 700 calorie deficit for the day, which is cool (typically shoot for 1000). Scale will punish me tomorrow... salt and batter and fat = bloat, but that's ok... I need to treat myself I think, had been craving sweets like mad. The maddening thing? The food wasn't that good - I need to stop going to Sushi Island. I really don't like their stuff. The fish is alright, the maki not good, and the tempura too oily. Meh. Now, back on the routine. :) Climbing tomorrow :D

Checking out crossfit gym this morning...
This looks intense, which is what I'm looking for. Should be... interesting. http://www.crossfitgyms.ca/what/ Dunno if I'll join, given that the Y is only a block away. But one never knows. :) May join for a month or buy a 10 pass and see how it works out.

Still here
Yup I'm still here. Several reasons: - history (weakest of the reasons) - macronutrient goals expressed in ranges not absolutes - more granular macronutrient tracking (sugar, sodium, potassium, etc.) - the promise of an android app coming (and LS's android app isn't that great anyhow) - integration with my scale (withings.com) Generally I think that DB is a better offering than LS. They just need to better engage their community when they have service affecting issues. ;)
