Hi there
Hey how are you dong? Have you found any good information regarding your diagnosis? How are you holding out? Able to do any moving around to get the blood running, or try new foods to support your healing?

Sorry to hear that
Hi, I'm sorry to hear about that, it's never fun to discover more obstacles. Well, I guess when you meet and shatter your goals, you will be able to show what you overcame! I found some information on this condition at http://www.lymphoedemaonline.com/ you have to scroll down and there's a diet to help also at http://www.lymph.com.au/webcontent4.htm.

New Information
So I have lipedema-the beginning stages. Depressing. The fat in my body doesn't dispense evenly and sits on top of the muscle on my thighs, pelvis, etc... At least I know why I can't eat sort of normal, like today, or why working out hard never did anything.....so. Lots more yoga, some non-cardio calisthenics, non-weight bearing. More water. Stick to the calories. And try not to give up.

Arg.
So I' m stuck. My weight is fluctuating around. I'm eating really good and balanced and spread out throughout the day, but it's just stuck. It goes up and down, so there is just no point in recording the fluctuations, but still. I weigh, myself in the morning when I wake up, and I bought a new great scale. My job is busy and active and I'm constantly going, going, going. I guess I'll just have to stick it out.

Calories and Protien
Hi, I just stumbled across your profile. When I started on my journey to take control of my body and health, I found a lot of the same things you mention. As I started eating whole foods I found I was often under calories, I think because I was finally getting the nutrients my body was craving in much more concentrated form via raw fruits and veggies as opposed to all the processed food I ate before. Also, I lost weight really fast, fatster than anyone reccomends, and my protien intake was not high enough based on what I've read. However, my body fat has gone down with the weight, so I haven't really worried too much about it. Anyway you can TOTALLY loose 25 by the end of August! I see you're working out too, great job! Making the decision and then taking steps to support that decision is just the right thing to do.
