Moving on up
I finally upped my bench press to 155 today, and had no problems. I think I'm past my little temporary rut on that exercise. Although my arms are still a bit shaky, I kept proper form and speed. I think my arms are just a bit untrained, because they're also shaky on the standing military presses. I never have this problem with leg exercises, but considering my history of playing soccer and bike riding, without much arm work, this isn't surprising.

Did real squats for the first time!
The old man and his woman weren't at the gym today! Hopefully they're gone for good, lol. It is the end of the month, maybe they went to a new gym???? *hoping* So I finally did real squats instead of the Smith machine. I lowered the weight from 185 to 145 to be safe. It wasn't quite as hard as I thought although keeping my balance was a little tricky. I think I'm going to increment 20 lbs until I get back up to 185. Also I lowered my standing military press down to 110 and completed all 3 sets no problem. I'm glad of that since I had a horrible 3 sets at 115 pounds. I was surprised just chopping 5 lbs would get me back to completion.

Today felt a lot better
I took a little break at the beginning of this week. No weights or cardio Monday & Tuesday. Then today I didn't increase the weights on any of my Rippetoe A. I'm not going to increase on Rippetoe B on Friday either, then start back normally next week. I took a break for a couple of reasons. One was I was feeling worse and worse about my form. Two I was feeling frustrated (I gained a pound instead of losing again last week), and three I have hurt my right wrist. I think I injured it somehow while doing a power clean last week. Today was a good day though. My form was better than ever on squats and deadlifts. And my form was great on benches although I still need work in general. I wasn't keeping the bar perfectly balanced and it was a little wobbly. However, the 150 lbs was much easier this time than last Wednesday. Also, my sticking point (seemed to be triceps at about 2-3 inches above the chest) seemed to be gone today. I think I'll stick at 150 one more time on benches before I increment that again. Also my wrist is feeling a lot better even though it's not back 100% yet. I think I should be good for power cleans on Friday.

Workout progress
I had better form today. I think the deadlift had perfect form. I rolled forward on my toes again a little bit on the squat, but only a couple times out of the full 15 reps. I think I'm subconsciously wanting to use my calf muscles to help out which is why I do that. I have to keep focusing on staying on my heels. I think I'm gonna have to stabilize on the bench press. I did 150 lbs today, but on the 5th rep of the 3rd set my form was horrible, and I was kind of jerky and slow on all the reps. I'm not going to increase weight next time, and maybe increase my creatine dose a little too.
