I'm no good at entering stuff

I'm now pretty much only using this site to help me keep track of my weight changes. I just can't get the time or motivation to try and enter all of my foods and exercises into it. I'm keeping myself honest and that's what matters. I'm not really journaling on this site at all, either, but working on one at wordpress instead. If I try to force myself to log everything, I'll just become overwhelmed. Less stress is what helps me, not more stress. I'm finally back in the game, and have become a lot more active. So here we go! Oh and I have to say, the little banner on the top that says "pro users lose 20% more weight than free users" only encourages me to lose more weight as a free user, not to become a pro user. :) Its odd where I get my inspiration...

    Title...

I agree with entering the foods. I have started just adding something that is already on the website that seems to be a good approximation for what I am really eating. I figure that gives me some idea of what I'm eating in a day. Hope you are feeling better after your surgery...looking at the fb, it sounds like you are!

    Current Status

I have learned that I just can't keep up with entering all of my foods daily. The setup on this site is good, I just tend to not have the time to do it. Especially since I use a lot of my own recipes. I tried using nap times to do it, but that seems to be about the only time I have to do other things around the house. Only problem of living with a toddler is lack of time to do other things I'd like to do. :) I finally did update my weight today, and I do hope to be better about that and the journal. That is a realistic goal for me. I got way off of caring what I ate for awhile, but after a weekend of caring, I feel much better and got back to about the weight I was at before. My focus now is what is good for my family. I'm looking into switching all beef to organic, grass fed beef, and will probably buy a quarter of a cow in order to accomplish this. It's leaner and just all around better. I try to buy organic things when I can, but it's expensive, and for a family of three with one income, not overly realistic. So buying in bulk and freezing is a plus, and I'm trying to make realistic steps to accomplish things. Notice the use of the word "realistic." Next week should be interesting, since I will be having sinus surgery on Monday and won't be up and around a lot. I plan to make a few casseroles this weekend to my husband can easily make something healthy for dinner for a few nights while I'm down, and make sure I get to the store to stock up on good things. I just keep asking myself, is this good for my family? Realizing that is what is the most important thing has re prioritized quite a few things.

    Rough week

This past week was insane. I was out way more than normal, and fast food was eaten way more than it has been for awhile. Its a reminder how much better my body feels when I'm eating well. So the bad news is I ate horribly. Good news? It looks as though I was busy enough to make up for it. I only gained 0.2 lbs, which I consider to be about the same as not gaining anything, and a win for the week I had. So at least I haven't forfeited the 3 lbs I already lost. Tomorrow I will be active again and eating well I hope, and I'll be heading to the grocery store soon, so I should be doing better again!
