    TOPS Support group?

I am unsure about joining the local weight loss support group. The main reason I'm unsure is I think of those places I think of those places for extremely overweight or obese. Me being small framed, 5' 5" and currently in the 140's and my goal 120. I know a lot of people will read this and say 20 lbs is nothing but my weight seems to be spiraling out of control lately and affecting my running. I really need some accountability of some sort it seems. Anyway I might join but kind of intimidated, If anyone has any thoughts let me know.

    erg

yes, the erg is extremely boring. Not at all like rowing on water. Our gym doesn't have a concept II (has a crappy Schwinn) although I have access to concept II's on Wednesday nights at the local YMCA. I guess winter will have to be the designated "get huge" season! Speaking of weight training, are you taking creatine monohydrate on a daily basis? It does help.

About Me

As a small 28 year old male, I enjoy running, rowing, coxswain, biking, swimming, sailing and other outdoor activities. I joined to find others with similar interests and goals. In college I was a runner aiming for 10k's and marathons. During my running years I also got involved with crew (rowing) and (being my size) was the coxswain (little dude that sat in the back of the big boats and yelled at the huge rowers). That was fun, however I have a flyweight rowing shell of my own now. This boat is specifically designed for smaller people (like me) to be able to row competitively (I hope)! Join me on my endeavors to get fit, lose weight, body fat and get ripped and lean. I have an outgoing personality, and enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I have many diet, health and fitness goals that I hope to achieve. Lets buddy up and do this!
