    Missing my workout...

So I am missing my workout today. I decided with preparations for vacation their was no time to go to the gym. Besides, taking a break from your workout once in a while I know can jump start weight loss. So that is a good thing right? So why do I feel so guilty? I will survive, just worried about eating junk on the trip to Tennessee. Gotta stick to healthy food we are bringing with us.

Still sick but back to work...

I have lost 4 lbs in the last week. This is NOT because of my diet, but more so because of the flu. But I will take it. Can't work out this week, getting ready for vacation in the Smokies. So I just have to be careful with my food choices until next week. They say sometimes it is good to stop working out for a week and give your body a rest.

    Sick as a dog...

i've come down with the flu. This sucks. Didn't work out yesterday for obvious reasons. However, on a positive note I did lose 2 lbs. Down to 244. 44 more to go..

About Me

I have struggled my entire adult life with my weight. As a teenager, I was very active in sports. I ate anything I want, but burned it off playing baseball, football, you name it. Once I stopped playing sports my weight slowly started to rise. I end up in my late 30's at 340lbs and type 2 Diabetes. It took my wife passing away at the age of 34 from complications of diabetes to realize I needed to make a change. I have so far lost 90lbs, and I need 40 more.
