    New Year

Back to the drawing board! Did pretty well last year - fitness wise. Fell off the wagon @ October & gained all the weight back, loss some muscle definition & probably some strength. Going to concentrate my efforts towards running & eating clean before throwing weights back into the mix. Deciding on whether or not to tackle P90X Lean....

    New Routine

Starting a new 5 week workout program I found on Bodybuilding.com forums board under workout programs called 'A Simple Beginner's Routine' ... I've created a custom workout 'Gils Workout' so I could track my #'s. I completed a 'test' today of the 1st day to see how I'd do - mostly cause I couldn't wait till Monday to get started - but will redo day 1 of the 5 week program on Monday ... totally dug it & am excited ... hope this will jump start my current stall (sp?) & also continue to drop a few pounds (14 more to go) ...

    NEW YEAR

Time to climb back on the wagon. Started the new year w/a 5 mile run in 30 degree weather. Took the weekend off (partly due to soarness of running in the cold) and was able to set a new record (for me) on the elliptical: 5 miles under 26 minutes. I'm stoked.

    Fell off the wagon

Been awhile since I worked out and suprisingly didn't gain too much of the weight back (???) but do look & feel like a bag of ****. Ran this morning for the first time in over 2 months & brought in a jug of water. I've kept up (somewhat) with the better eating habits - vice the weekends - but plan to kick that in to gear as well.
