3 weeks of plateau...
I used to do this diet that I sorta invented... 1 week of serious diet... or however long it took to lose 5 pounds, and then 3 weeks to "plateau"... level out my metabolism before starting the lose phase again. It worked well. I lost 45 pounds over 9 months... and then I did it again some 8 years later... and then again 5 years later... and now, it seems I'm there again, 4 years later. Is this a cycle... maybe. But this time I only have 30 total to lose to get back... and I'm halfway there. Been a busy 3 weeks and I guess I just did my plateau, so it's time to start another push. We'll see how that goes... I wouldn't say it was the wisest diet plan, as I do remember some dizziness spells when I was getting close to my goal weight, (we're talking college years) but this time I'm a lot wiser, and not just cutting calories in a drastic way. I am actually eating smarter and smaller meals more.

down 10...
Even though I've been sidelined from most of my workouts due to a strained or sprained ankle, I'm still losing weight. I had a big derailment, (orI thought it was) with a week and a half away from home, but I tried to limit food and eat fruit as much as possible. Getting back to my routine was easy. Looking forward to 199... I don't think it'll take that long.

OK, two weeks in....
Burned 8600 calories last week. ate under my target calories every day, except maybe saturday. ran 1.5 miles today without stopping... a big hurdle for me, and the legs don't hurt. Started on the upper body. and most importantly, down 7 pounds!

Been slacking! Time to refocus.
OK, I've definitely been neglecting my health and fitness. Just fallen into the routine of eating lunch with friends daily, at restaurants, and I haven't been weighing myself much... it shows. On the other hand, I am playing some good golf, and got 20th at the World Championships in Masters (over 40, yes, I just turned 40!), playing so-so golf. At least by my standards. OK, time to start heading back into the healthy zone. Time to track everything.
