Okay, today I did 25 sit-ups, 10 russian twists, 25 leg-lifts on both legs--so 50 leg lifts, and worked out my arms by laying on my back and lifting 5lb dumbells in each hand straight up, touched them together, and brought them back down 25 times. I also walked 1 mile. Need to figure out a better way to add the custom workouts so they reflect what I really did.

Zen Yoga Instructions
I found this site that has a good description of the Sun Salutation, which is what I use for my Zen Yoga workout. http://www.yogasite.com/sunsalute.htm

I don't know if my scale is funky, or what, but damn it was nice to see such a lower number for a change. I have an appointment with my doctor next Tuesday, so I'll know my exact weight then.

The first step is the hardest, right?
I decided to join this website because of the previous experiences my husband and I had when it was Gyminee. I'm hoping that tracking my progress and applying what I learn from this site will help me reach my weight loss goals. Over the past seven years I have had some serious health issues crop up, including the loss of my thyroid, that have caused me to gain weight, and I'm not too happy about that. However, I'm not going to sit around and feel sorry for myself--I'm going to continue to work at attaining my weight loss goal. Hopefully, this site can help.
