Added a Piece of Fruit ????
Today I picked up some very small asian pears from the dairy I frequent. On the way home I had one for snack with my 15 almonds. It was very tasty and sweet and small. When I got home I had that familiar acid feel to my stomach so I had a cup of chicken broth with a few slices of leftover cut up steak. That filled me right up. This morning I had a piece of toast with my 2 poached eggs plus a homemade yogurt. I hope that adding the asian pear doesn't prove a wrong move. I wore size 14 shorts today that I haven't fit in for 2 years. :) They were a might tight, but nothing noticeable. Though I didn't drop any weight today it was nice to see my figure improving. I'm taking my casual stroll tonight and calling it a day.

1st day of adding a carb
I'm not sure about doing this, but I've been pretty faithful to Phase 1 for almost a month now. I've also dropped about 14 pounds. The weight comes off slow, but it comes off. If this adds weight back on, I'm going back to phase 1. I ate a small piece of wheat toast with my two poached eggs this morning and a cup of v8.

Six pounds in a week... Can it last?
I am taking a combo of herbs: caralluma, glucomannan, and Cha' de Bugre tea to help kill my appetite and desire to sabotage. For a week it's worked. I have no real hunger. I am experimenting a bit with when to take them. I drink the tea all day long. It works well and doesn't taste funny. I haven't had a cup of coffee in two days without side effect. That's very strange. The glucomannan seems to really make me feel full for a long time. It's amazing. I wasn't sure if the weightless was real at first. I've been on my period where I always seem to drop weight easily so I was worried that the phenomenon was purely due to that. In the past the weight loss has completely stalled and even returned afterwards. This time I kept losing. I wonder if i can manage the same amount next week. Wouldn't that be great? I've planned ahead before and been very disappointed. However, six more pounds isn't going to get me into some unknown region of weight. I would be down to where I was at graduation. 196 is not my dream weight, but it's a far cry better than 202. I'm just so glad to be away from 208. If I were to do some reckless dreaming I'd know that I have 6 weeks left of break before school starts. That's six pounds for six weeks. At this rate I could lose 36 more pounds... to a svelte 166 pounds... ya, right! I can only hope that the inserts that are being made for me help to cure this planters fasciitis and make it possible for me to run again. Then 166 is not entirely impossible. For now, I'll keep drinking my tea, taking my herbs and watching my food intake. Hopefully that will at least help me get closer to my goal.

ut oh...197
Okay, it's definitely time to get back on the horse. I feel very tired lately and I think it's the weight. I'm going to try getting up early and working out before school. Hopefully it will work. Meanwhile, I'll keep working out during break and see if I can loose a few pounds before going back to school!

Wow! Drop the Carbs and Calories and Wham!!! 187
This is a little odd. I'm a little weirded out by my body right now. I have been eating a close to 1000 calories a day and limiting my carbs to around 100. Suddenly, even with the same workout efforts (with a few extra minutes on the elliptical) I'm dropping 2 pounds a day. Yesterday I didn't even have to exercise (day off). I'm not really hungry during the day and I eat 4-5 meals of high protein. I drink a ton, but that's normal for me too. I can't believe my eyes when I look in the mirror, or the scale. Very weird!!! I know people have said you have to eat 1200 calories a day, but I can't really find a way to squeeze in the extra 200. I'm not hungry, in fact usually I'm stuffed! It's hard to find high calorie protein.
