    I guess I'm just getting frustrated at not being able to find the right balance at the moment, but I'll keep pushing forwards and hopefully start seeing some results soon.

    Back on track with plotting nutrition and with gai

    Good to see how much control I have when I use this tool. I gained a couple of kilos over Christmas and hadn't lost much for the last few months when I was exercising but not plotting how what I ate impacted on my goals.

    Bought a bike and have been riding to work nearly

    It's a 33-34 KM ride round trip, which I ride pretty fast with a friend. According to the calorie calculator that's 1768 calories I burn. About half of it is pretty, riding along the river and the skyline, and half of it's gritty, riding on city streets. One place has pretty bad air quality, too, crossing a major road where cars sit in a traffic jam. The contract for this consulting job is nearly up, though.

    Hey, last month you had indicated you were looking into getting a dog ... did you get one? If so, what type and how is the new family addition doing - I am an absolute dog lover, mine's a great exercise buddy when I go hiking and for the occasional run.
