    Just checking in

Hi, How is it going? I haven't seen anything new from you in a while. I hope all is OK?

    Great to hear from you!

I'm glad things are well! Yeah, when I started raw, I didn't do any sort of exercise for the first few weeks. I have been a bit less raw lately, just eating some tofu and an occasional brown rice veggie sushi. Probably still 90+ % raw though and feel great. I have been upping my lifting also, but started real slow and am seeing gains without pain, so I am pleased with that. I'm doing much higher reps than I did in the past, curious to see how my body responds. Well, keep up the good work! :)

    Hey Kyle!

Howdy, how's it going? Just checking in to see if all is well. I noticed you don't have a lot of activity and didn't want you to "slip through the cracks" if you need some motivating or help! Hopefully you are on vacation or some other good thing, keeping you away from the computer!

Microwaves have decreased food quality so much. However, it does help a lot when you live in a dorm and need to cook up some frozen veggies. My yoga class ended, but I might take one again during the summer. I always incorporate yoga into my stretching though. These days, I eat one or fewer carnivorous meals each day. Breakfast is usually vegan. I'm not sure I could handle a 100% vegetarian or vegan diet. But I make sure that any meat I do eat is quality. I have stopped taking vitamins. Instead I focus on eating more nutritious foods. Currently, I am really addicted to salted peanuts in the shell. They satisfy my cravings for salty and crunchy foods and provide lots of the minerals I need. Making sure I get all my nutrients is like a game. Plus, by focusing on what I should be eating instead of calories in and calories out, I don't overeat. I am finally feeling like I am headed in the right direction.

    Thanks for the support!

Staying fit is extremely difficult in college. I have discovered that stress especially affects my eating habits. Strangely, I was able to learn to control this during my final exams (usually the most stressful time of the year). By creating a schedule for myself (studying, eating and exercising) I was less likely to eat to procrastinate or to relieve stress. Instead I relied on exercise. I have also gotten back into the mental state where processed foods are just repulsive. I keep a healthy supply of fruits to satisfy my sweet tooth and I have been drinking gallons of water. My skin has improved and I have so much more energy. I am so ready to take on my summer classes! How is your raw food diet going? It's seems more like a way of life than a food preference!
