    Tara - a mile in 10 minutes is a great goal but I do not believe you can get there walking. It will have to running. I am rooting for you to make it. If you stay at it, you can do it. I will sending you that Withings scale. Dad

    doing ok

    Well I am exercising everyday... i guess that is the important thing. Yesterday I overslept and had no time in the morning..but did my treadmill after work at about 3 to 3.2 mph, 1 mile in 20 minutes.. pretty slow. I am aiming to do 1 mile in 10 minutes or less. Right now I am just pushing to train myself to do this daily.

    Keep in mind you've been doing this less than 2 weeks. Unless you make super dramatic changes, which can be unsafe, normal weight loss is only going to be 1-2 pounds per week. For me, it was even slower. Just keep at it.

    treadmill...

    Well I am continuing with the treadmill and abs routine in the morning. Some mornings are harder than ever. Not really sure what I weigh right now, so I have no idea if anything I am doing is helping or not. People tell me that I look like I have lost and am losing weight...I know it only happens slowly, but is hard to not have it happen faster.... little by little i suppose....

    calorie goals today

    well i think it is safe to say my calorie goal is going to be shot straight to hell today. One of the girls at work made me a homemade german chocolate cake for my BD.. that is ok.. i will just work out harder tomorrow... LOLOLOL
