    I'm Back

Pamela, wanted to stop in and say hi! I am really trying to get my pre baby body back ... gaining 65 lbs during pregnancy was not fun ... going from my smallest size ever to my largest has been depressing. I am still nursing and finding a hard time fitting in excercising with baby and work, but I am taking step one and that is trying to eat healthy! I am hoping to squeeze in some workouts soon too (while my husband picks up the baby from day care). Anyway, hope you are doing great and hope to see you soon!

    Protein & Bars

: ) I know!!! I have tried the bars with the last of my Vega Protein but felt they needed "something" to flavor them. I "re-did" them adding PB2 and tons of cinnamon and they tasted great but I got the texture too thin so they have to stay frozen and I eat them pretty much immediately... So next batch, I have learned some things but since I have to buy new protein I was just wondering if they all hit your gut like a bomb. I think I will try the egg protein by Healthy N Fit. I will let you know. Meanwhile, going over to my Mom's today and making her some with her own protein (which is Whey I think) because she is jealous and wants her own! : ) I am going to teach her and apply what I have learned with my trial and error! LOL Was thinking of adding the cinnamon, little agave, and possibly some chopped walnuts... Have you ever added nuts to yours?

    No Bake Protein Bars

So, after you take them out of the freezer and cut them, where do you store them? Fridge? Freezer? Counter top? I was gonna make a batch and was unclear on that point.. Thanks!

    Thanks for becoming a Motivator!

I just need someone to keep me in check and make sure I do everything possible to get to my goals, and that I don't slack. I've always had a motivation issue. I'll start and if something disrupts my routine, it takes a lot for me to get my motivation back. That's where motivators come in.

    Weight is up

But it's on purpose. Trying to gain some muscle and so far making some progress. Just need to get a consistent measurement for a couple of weeks before I try to bring down the BF% again.
