    Where have I been?

Missed a few months. I've been eating poorly and very sedentary. I'm up 6.5 pounds, to 209. Not the biggest I've ever been, but not at all where I want to be. Time to reverse the trend here....

Weight gain, ramping up the cardio

Soreness was light over the weekend, felt great after Friday's workout. Body was fatigued, but not hurting, all weekend. Felt good. I've hopped up to 50 min on the cardio this morning and felt fine. Once I make it to 60 min I'll start slowly bringing up the intensity instead of the time. I'm up about a pound today. Could be water, could be slow digestion over the weekend. I'm not seating it too much, but it was exciting to watch the numbers fall each day until now. I'm looking forward to that first five pound medal, it'll make me feel like I'm really doing some good here.

    Ow!

Sore. Not unbearably, and so glad I didn't go too crazy yesterday. Tomorrow's cardio will be a challenge with the soreness. Tonight: stretching before bed, and maybe a bath with epsom salts.

    First day on the weights.

Hard to take it easy. I know even with my low-key workout, I'll be feeling it tomorrow. No more than two sets, all basic compound movements. Weights1 workout could use more shoulders and a biceps iso movement. I added the shoulders today. I had to set up the squat rack because nobody does squats in the gym. Ha!

    Making a routine

I know two times isn't a routine, but I am trying to get in the swing. Got my locker today, so I've moved in.
