    Exercise Queen

    I am in awe! I am making time to do at least 100 jumping jacks and 50 crunches in my day... working on finding the time to do other cardio, but starting small.

    finding time

    I need to get my husband more involved. He keeps saying he wants to running in the morning, which would be one more set of hands with the kids, but then he just grunts and rolls back over for more sleep. If I can get myself out of bed at 5 I am going to try and do a quick 20 minute DVD for a power start to my morning. Otherwise, I am going going going with work and the kids until close to 8 pm. Maybe I will put an exercise DVD in the evening and see if my toddler wants to do it with me. Trying to set a good example after all.

    Hi... I noticed that you actually post workouts each day. Where do you find the time? With my 2 small kids it seems the only way I could squeeze one in is to get up even earlier... and the alarm already goes off by 5:30.

    Yes, at least I am going to try. Daily Mile is great. It is just workouts but it is really more than than. It is very social and friendly. I am really involved over there as I am now on the team but I am on the team because I was so involved. I really love it.

About Me

I am a mom to two small children. After having the kids, my weight had reached an all-time high. I had never successfully lost weight and kept it off before. My husband and I started working together in May 08. As I lost each pound, I gained motivation. I finally met my goal in May 09 and am now working on maintaining my weight and challenging myself with new fitness goals. I have now completed 5k's, 10k's, 3 half-marathons, and 2 triathlons (Iron Girl Columbia, MD)
