The biggest part about nutrition and exercise is getting into the habit of being consciously aware. Once you know what you eat or don't eat... what types of exercises you like and don't like... the lifestyle comes slowly with it. But logging foods and fitness progress is really the beginning of being more health-aware. Great job on losing over 5 lbs this semester. I'd say that you're well on your way to meeting your goal. Stay healthy and motivated! :)

It sounds like fellow members of DailyBurn were able to give you some great advice with your forum question on Calories. Sometimes when we are exercising a lot, it can be hard to maintain our caloric intake in a healthy way. I hope you were able to get some good feedback! :)

The comment you made about keeping little cues around the house and while you're exercising to keep you motivated is terrific. Sometimes the littlest things can be the reminders we need to keep us going. I hope that you continue utilizing these gems to keep you motivated to workout even after you reach your goals. :)

My Daily Burn Experience
A) Logging my food everyday has really taught me that when I thought I was eating healthy I really wasn't. I have started eating more veggies and keeping my fat content under control. B)Tracking my workouts gave me goals to reach for. This made me work harder and everyday I felt I needed to do something just for the satisfaction of "writing" it down. It made me feel good and it's something I really want to continue. C)Daily burn has been really helpful in helping me go in the right direction to my goals. I haven't reached them quite yet but I'm on my way. D) I have tried other websites but nothing really seemed to stick but I think this one will. This class has really pushed me in the right direction. I just hope I can continue to stay motivated even without the class.
