Day Seven
Yesterday was a middle of the road kind of day. Made good choices about what I ate and came in with a very good calorie deficit. Had a long day at work so took yesterday as my off day. Also starting to show some weight drops. Its still not much and could be water gain/lost, although with no weight workouts yet in rotation I should have less variance on that (or so I have been told). Here is hoping the progress continues.

Day Six
Another Day and the journey to a thinner me progresses. Did good on the food. Managed to go to one of the restaurants I like and have something that was both good and within bounds. Snacking was also well under control yesterday. Switched up the workouts today, did some cross-trainer. Only managed 30 min, but burned a lot more calories. Yesterday was my biggest calorie deficit yet, although still enough to keep me going.

When I say back issues, I don't mean serious "have to go to the doctor to get this checked out" back issues...more like just pain due to overworking an area that hasn't been used. It's good to feel the pain, but you don't want to overdo it and hurt yourself, which is why I suggest lowering the rep count, that way you can let it rest it a bit more between sets. As for the willpower to eat right...it helps to try to banish the bad foods from your home, so that the only thing you have is the good foods. It helps just not having the bad stuff around. Also make sure that people around you know that you are trying to eat healthy...so if they have to go out and get something for you, they keep that in mind when they order for you (if you're leaving it up to them to decide). Instead of going to a burger joint maybe they'll head to subway instead. That's one of two "fast food" places I go to these days.

Day Five
Did pretty good on my meals today. Snacked a bit to much, but still well under the amount I am listed as burning in a day. Largest deficit yet. Didn't realize how bad the sausage was. I knew it was fatty but I was looking for protein. Will try and find an alternate next time. Walking was good today also. Didn't push hard but went longer which I think balances out. I believe tomorrow I will switch to stair climbing for a bit to change stuff up.

Day Four
Did good on eating today. Concentrated on fish and learner foods for the most part. I am still putting in 2k calories a day but according to the chart here my burn is much higher then that so I hope it is still ok. Weight is still holding at 326 give or take, but its only been 4 days so I am not worried. In my workout last night I decided to try and run, It nearly destroyed me, not ready for that yet. I will keep walking and maybe add 1 day that is stair climbing. My whole body is sore every morning and through a good portion of the day. It is the good "gym" sore though from actually getting exercise. I think it will be a few more weeks till I adjust to this so I will stick to straight cardio for the time being still.
