    Ode to Veggies

    Oh veggies you're delicious You make me feel so good I really think you are the best Of all the other food. Oh veggies you're nutritious I can eat you all day long I'm sure my audience is glad This poem's not a song! Oh veggies you're the best You are my weight-loss friends Green beans, broccoli, peas, and carrots My love for you will never ends.     Hi Laura! Thanks for the sage advice. To maintain my weight I have to eat between 1900 and 2100 calories. I'm trying to stay within 1700 to 1900 calories. My problem is that because I don't eat veggies, I eat A LOT of fatty foods, so I try to moderate that as much as possible. The other thing that I think is probably not accurate is the calories burned during my exercise routines. The Wii active tells me how many calories I burned, but when I do the Wii Fit and the Weight Loss Yoga I have to find an activiey(ies) that approximate what I do, and I wonder if the calorie burn calculated is too high, which makes it look like I took in too few calories. I don't know. But I will watch my calories and make sure I don't eat too few. I don't want to stall out at the beginning, then I get discouraged and give up. I love you sweetie!

    Yeah, I've heard that from people before. Maybe you're bored because you're doing it in a gym. Have you tried running outside? Treadmills suck the life out of anyone. Another thought is maybe joining an aerobics class or something. Just a thought.

    Bored already?

    So I've been doing my current workout for at least 2 months and I'm getting bored already! Sheesh. I have changed it a little bit. I'm doing the Couch potato to 5k in 9 weeks program for the beginning of my workout, but my weight lifting exercises are getting boring! That's one problem I have w/ exercising, I get bored pretty quickly. So if anyone reading this as any fun exercises that really work (with our without weights) let me know!

    Back in the Saddle Again

    After a blissful week of absolutely refusing to keep track of my calories, it is time to get back on the wagon! I was a good girl and exercised last night (regardless of what my log says I did do some form of exercise 6 days last week) and it really felt great to get moving again. Gotta get it going! Those pounds aren't going to lose themselves!
