Failure
So, I have gained four pounds since I joined this site around the holidays. FOUR POUNDS since I've been tracking calories and workouts. I have been working out just as much (if not more), maybe some of that gain is muscle, but it is crazy to me to think that now that I am making some kind of effort to track what I eat and to eat better, I am actually gaining weight instead of losing. It sucks. Maybe I should just go back to eating take out every night and I'd lose 4 pounds again. Ugh. This is very discouraging.

Not working?
This new plan (no "unhealthy" things) doesn't seem to be working too well. It is only noon and already I have consumed over 700 calories. I have worked out as well, so that's why I was hungry, but seriously!? And I'm so tired. I have some good fruit waiting for me in the fridge that will hopefully perk me up, but this is awful. I'm SO FAT!!! I feel like I'm a lot less fat when I'm actually eating like crap, which is really, really frustrating for me. I'm bordering on miserable right now. Why do I weigh SO much!? Is it still weight from the dumb birth control!?

Goals and Rewards
Since I tend to reward myself with food and realize I can't do that anymore, I'm substituting for other prizes! Hopefully I can actually get some of these... (1) Back under 145 (steadily) = eyebrows done (2) 140 = mani/pedi at Polished (3) 138 = something else at Polished - massage maybe (?) (4) 135 = shopping prize - jeans and/or maybe new running shoes (?) (5) 132 = other shopping prize (?) (6) 130 = penultimate! Burberry bikini as a prize!

Starting Again
No soda at all this week - should be interesting. No coke or diet coke or anything of the sort!! I am also staying off chips/candy/processed snacks. Hopefully that will help me get back on track weight-wise. I'm going to keep it up with the workouts and really focus on gradually adding in more running. Working on my flexibility so I can get back to Bikram in a few weeks, as I know that will help me look/feel good. I actually stayed on the treadmill for 31 minutes today, 25 of which were running minutes. I am REALLY proud of my knee for holding up for 25 minutes of running (and it wasn't that that slow either - range b/w 5.8 and 6.4 mph). It hurt quite a bit towards the end but it held up and I'm just happy I was able to do it - didn't know if that would ever happen. I need to keep chipping away at it so I can get back to running as my go-to workout. Nothing works better or makes me feel better!! Here we go...

AHHHHH
What the f* is going on with this weight gain!? I am working out SO much - maybe it is just muscle that is making me weigh more or something!? I am going to do an incremental cleanse starting on Monday so hopefully that will shed whatever crazy excess I'm dragging around and jump start me on the right track with my weight again. I'm so frustrated/nervous that I am not losing but am in fact GAINING. AH.
