Re: Daily Burn
DailyBurn has its own iPhone app which allows you to easily log your workouts as you're in the gym performing your sets - which is kinda cool (if you have an iPhone). Also, they have an app called FoodTracker which allows you to scan food labels and directly input them into your nutrition/food journal - also cool (but of course, only if you have an iPhone). Anyway, I enjoyed following your progress over the las few weeks. Good luck with all of your future fitness goals! :)

Daily Burn
A) the pro's to using a website such as the Daily Burn are many, it makes it very easy to set goals, and see your progress, along with get motivation for those goals from others, and it lets you cross it off when you do meet it. The cons would be that it is online, and you have to be next to a computer with internet access, to check the website and mark your progress, or goals. B) Yes, while not meeting all of my smart goals I was able to meet some! C) I really liked this website. pretty much for all of the pro reasons in question A. I liked being able to track my weight, and my goals. And being able to create a workout and have it somewhere stored other than my head, was really really nice and convenient. Thanks for a great semester!

Re: Motivation
While it's good to have extrinsic motivators - like girlfriend, etc - to keep you going, you've seemed to have balanced your motivation with some intrinsic feelings as well (like feeling healthy, feeling strong) which are ultimately the motivators that will drive your active lifestyle. Extrinsic motivators can jump start a healthy behavior, but the instrinsic motivators are what keeps you going in the long run. Keep up the great work! Keep pushing yourself to be stronger and healthier and you will continue to achieve your fitness goals! :)

motivation
This week the 3 people that i motivated were marco_magliozzi - from Mesa, Arizona,wallock4 - from Mesa, Arizona, andy092007 - from Mesa, Arizona. Looking the best for my girlfriend is what motivates me the most, along with i like being strong and able to lift weights, along with my health, I would like to be healthy for the rest of my life. these are all things that make me stay motivated. The reason I chose my chest, and triceps work out is because, well today was the day to do it, ha. But I also Love working out my chest. It is such a good feeling when the muscle are tearing, and get all swollen, might sound funny, but i just love it. and that deep burn I feel in my triceps makes the work out totally worth it.

Healthier version of the Jumbo Jack with cheese
http://dailyburn.com/recipes/healthier_version_of_jumbo_jack_with_cheese In my version of the Jumbo jack, I have a grilled fresh lean ground beef patty, instead of a fried processed patty, I have a fat free slice of cheese, have switched the white hamburger bun with a whole wheat one, fresh lettuce, and have done away with the pickles, ketchup, and mayo. I tried to keep the most flavor I could, with cutting out the bad parts that we can do without.
