About Me
I have a 2 year old toddler and bouncing back from a whopping 63 pound gain during my pregnancy on my small frame. But feeling better than ever, just sooo hard with that last little bit....

And here we are again ....
Sigh ... I'd like to blame it on the fact my best workout partner has a terrible battle with colon cancer, my husband's mother passed away and I traveled for a few weeks with a toddler in 100+ degree heat of the south .... but, lets face it, my body just loves being at 145 and since all my clothes fit at that weight - I easily slide back on the 5 lbs... its true, the last 5 are the HARDEST... there is little motivation other than its completly aggravating to keep gaining and loosing it again, but I like my body enough not to have a fire to go workout - I rather read, be with baby, or simply just be. So .... I'm committing myself to getting there before I turn 41. Let's go .... again ;-)

I am so proud of you for sticking with the healthy lifestyle! Vegan huh I don't think I can do that. Kudos to you!! Nice job on the under 140. Here's hoping I'll be there soon!! Thank you for all of your help and support on the first 50 pounds I lost. On the way down another 50. I am so ready for the ride !!

A Journey into Vegan....
hmmm... so I busted out of my 140s, but it took going completely vegan... and let's face it, after 3 days of complete immersion I've discovered a few things. Its really hard to find access to the accepted foods. And when I can't find them, I just do without. I'm dipping below 1000 cals a day?? No wonder I'm loosing weight!! I'm giving it a fighting chance, but I already see seafood coming back in my life and I doubt I can live without eggs and cheese. It just cuts too many option out of my menu. But, I'm trying.... I'm eating my veggies, grains and beans... I have not touched soda, chocolate, sweets . The odd thing is I am not really hungry and I don't miss anything except a good cold fountain coke. And wow my system is starting to work smoothly and I feel very light. We'll see.... I can say it feels really good to be committed, but 3 days does not a vegan make :)

A change in attitude
More than half way thru my 10-week training program this time, and I've realized its not about the last 5 lbs anymore. My body is changing and I am feeling stronger and healthier even though the scale is consistently constant... 140. It's no longer about the number, but enjoying life and living better. I don't even miss the sodas anymore! :) Coming back on here to start tracking my food again as I don't think I am eating enough to fuel my workouts. So let's see....

Consistently constant...
I have been working VERY hard and I lost a mere one pound in this month... granted its the holidays, but I have not really increased my eating. At times its frustrating, other times I remind myself at least I am constantly going down... but the staying the same for a long time and eeking off one pound is a little distressing. I think I need to get drastic .....
