Marathons
After months of painful shin splints, I went against my good minded-ness and the opinions of others and ran the 2009 Eugene Marathon. Thankfully, my shin was ok, but my feet wanted to die. I finished in a pathetically slow 6 hours and 5 minutes. But, I was ill-trained (layed up because of the bad shins) and I was just happy to have done it and FINISHED. I am now training for the 2009 Portland Marathon on October 4. I would like to finish somewhere around 4.5 hours.

So how long is a half marathon? And do you actually keep a running/jogging pace? I could never! I'd have to walk, better yet... give me a road bike!
