you gotta try MY pesto

I had an idea to add jalapeno in when I made pesto - boy is it good. Mine was not hot at all. If you like spicy, add more peppers or a few drops of habanero sauce. You could use cilantro in place of basil, my bf hates it so I didn't. Approximate recipe: 1 bunch basil 1 head garlic 3 large jalapeno, seeded 1/2c nuts (I used walnuts but almonds are good, too & cheaper than pine nuts) 1/4c EVOO dash salt Whiz it all up in the blender & enjoy.
