Hi! If you are following busy schedule and not getting time for regular exercise then you can lose weight by just doing exercise 4 times in a week. You should eat natural foods like organic fruits and vegetables, brown bread, brown rice and fish. Don’t take any kind of stress. You have to work on your abdominal muscles 3 times in a week. For this you can do crunches and leg raises, pushups and pullups for one set of fifteen repetitions.

There is nothing wrong with consuming a protein shake for breakfast, but the key is looking at what’s in your shake. Many maufactured shakes have lots of little extra’s that you don’t want to be eating like fillers, aspartame, etc. You’re best to make your own smoothie for breakfast and can add some low calorie fruit like strawberries. Try to avoid bananas – they have one of the highest sugar contents of any fruit and therefore are high in calories.

A simple, losing weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Sounds simple enough, but if it were that simple, none of us would have a weight problem. Too often we take drastic measures to see results: http://besttipforyou.blogspot.com/2013/07/how-t…

I’ve never heard that soy is “bad.” I’ve heard there are better sources of protein that soy proteins because only animal (whey) proteins have the complete set of essential amino acids.

Yes, 1200 calories is too low. The USDA recommends 2000 calories for a moderately active female to maintain weight. What you eat is more important than counting calories. Try to avoid sugar and processed foods. Consume whole fruits and vegetables and good sources of protein. You can find more info on my blog at www.revealnaturalhealth.com.

I really want to encourage you to try free weights. If you are losing weight and you still arent seeing lower body fat…your diet and routine could be causing your body to save fat and burn valuable muscle. Eating to support lean mass (get enough protein) and fat loss can be tricky. You may want to seek advice on a custom plan for eating and gym routine so that you can get the look you are wanting with optimal results in the least amount of trial and error as possible. :) You only get one life, definately seek someone who can hel p you! Good luck!

There is a thin wall of abdominals that you will see on the exterior that will give you that “six pack” look. Those you can hit about once a week…or if you are squatting and deadlifting you really dont need to hit them at all. :)
You will not see them until your body fat percentage is lower but TRUST me, if you build them up and out, if you have fat on top they will just appear larger and protruding more.
What I tell my clients to do is to work on their transverse abdominals instead.
Working on the transverse abdominals will pull your stomach muscles back in and strengthen that wall from the inside out! Giving you a flatter more appealing look! Meanwhile keep up your HIIT training and clean eating…they will show once you get down there in BF! :)
Here are a few excercises for the transverse: GOOGLE:
Planks
and
Vaccuums
Start with four or five sets of 30 seconds and work your way up to one minute. Once you are able to accomplish one minute of each set, add sets.
I hope that helps!

My original plan for this summer was going to complete Insanity for the second time, but my schedule at work has changed and during the week I literally have NO time for workout and leisure anything. So I’m looking for a quick workout routine that I can do Mon-Fri,Sat that I can complete in 15-40 mins and actually be effective. I have plenty of floor space, tension bands, dumbells of all different sizes, and a pull up bar. My idea is to do a mix of (ab ripper x, cardio abs, insane abs) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Before abs on MWF and for a full 15-40 mins on T,TH, I plan to fill that in with something. I’m not looking to lose any weight, just to tone up and stay in shape until my schedule changes so that I can jump right back into a second round of Insanity. Maybe a mixture of curls, pushups, squats(something of that sorts). If anyone can help with some ideas for the morning for me, I’d appreciate it. Maybe an example that you do. I’m already eating right and have my nutrition in gear.
