Thanks thedabble… I’m sticking with it… and trying to keep positive! I’ve also been trying to eat a little more, because when i started eating “smarter” my calories intake was only about 800 all day, Now I’m really trying to get at that 1400 calories by eating more protein. It is difficult when you can’t have some dairy… Thanks for the comment, and it’s good to hear that my issue is “normal”. Good luck with your goals!

Bananas are good for the body. This is because it is very rich in a number of vitamins and minerals that not only help the body stay fit but also energetic all day long. The only drawback that it has is that it is very rich in its sugar content. Therefore, those having diabetes must not have them regularly.

Body fitness is not the only thing one should care of. But mental health is also very important. I don’t know why most of us are running for good looking body, we want result as fast as possible. We get depressed when it doesn’t happen. I recommend that we shouldn’t think about it too seriously. Yoga and meditation is the best remedy to all our problems.

@ henry123, I really appreciate your answer and 8 hours for sleep everyday is good for health. If people exactly follow like sleeping 8 hours in a day then definitely they could be more active the remaining 16 hours in a day.

I found this for another member and stumbled across your post and think this article might help: http://www.livestrong.com/article/406332-do-mus…

It’s about muscle, glycogen storage and water and how it impacts or looks like an impact when you first begin or add a workout.

I had this issue too. I lost 7 lbs. in the first week then gained 2.5 back without any changes in calories (1200/day) over the following 2 weeks. I’m almost to week 4 and just today finally broke into a loss-down 8.5 lbs. total. I did some research and found that it’s common for the first week to be water weight loss-most or all-then your body is in a state where it tries to maintain or compensate the following week or weeks but once it adjusts to your new lifestyle, weight loss will come back. I’ve read that on top of that, if you add regular workouts and it is not used to that or increasing the frequency or type, it could take even longer to adjust. Your muscle mass is most likely increasing too and will eventually burn more calories than fat mass. It has to do with your muscles, glycogen and water retention so I’ve read but eventually it shouldn’t have an impact on your weight goals as long as you continue to burn more calories than you consume. Keep it up!

People get depressed when their weight loss program don’t go as per their expectation. In the feeling of anxiety and anger, they eat more and they get more weight than they were actually having. Follow that weight loss program that is achievable. It will take time but you’ll get to lose weight only.

Being a fat person is not your fault. But doing nothing about it surely is. Your body weight is changeable by workouts and good diet. One need not to get depressed because he/she is fat. Lose your weight, simple. It will take time.

8 Hours sleep is must for everyone. Sleeping time has its own importance. It is best to sleep at 10pm and wake up at 6am

If you sleep as just told you’ll very get sleepy in your office, you’ll stay awake and more concentrated to your work!

HELP:

I’ve changed my eating habits- eating lots of fruits and vegetables, chicken/fish, etc.
I have been going to the gym- at least 4-5 times per week.

The first week I lost about 5 lbs. The last two- nothing…

I’m starting to feel unmotivated, and I need to figure out what is happening…

My wife and I both have struggled with weight gain sense we hit our forties. Then we read about HCG, We both had to do several rounds of HCG to lose the weight. I lost it faster then my wife she lost about .5 lbs a day, were I would loose up to 1.5 lbs per day. The really great thing about HCG is when you do gain some of the weight back you do not end up fatter then you started and we have never gained it all back.

For those poo pooing hCG, you need to read Dr Simeon’s manuscript Pounds and Inches, http://www.hcgbodyshaper.com/simeon.pdf. Also take a look at http://www.hcgbodynow.com/ it gives you facts on why the 500 calorie diet works and that you are not starving yourself because you are living off your fat! For those that purchased homeopathic HCG, you did starve yourself and yes you could end up fatter then when you started, like all starvation diets. There is a good YouTube video by Dr. Clark he explains why homeopathic HCG does not work, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwZKiBcWsPQ&nore….

I was very fat 5 months ago. I wanted to lose weight but nothing could motivate me. Later I watched a motivational speach given My Eric Thomas. Since then I started jogging every morning at 6. I lost 5 kg of weight in just 3 weeks. I was an amazing experience. I’m still on pursuit to lose another 5kg of weight.

it can work but there is some precautions to take. First of all you have to develop the right mindset to commit to it.

My suggestion to people has always been to just reduce your portions little by little so your body can adjust properly. Cause what can happen is that your body may go into emergency mode and hold on to fat as an act of survival.

This will only last for so long tho. It comes down to calories consumed, and if you’re eating the right foods and less calories, fasting can work. I would be a good number of protein each day

burn calories fast

U.S. sugar is like twice the price than the rest of the world. So companies cash in and save money by using HFCS instead of regular sugars. Now companies are getting the FDA to change High Fructose Corn Syrup to just “Corn Syrup” on food ingredient labels to wipe away the fear people have of HFCS.

The funny thing is that there have been studies done by the Department of Preventive Medicine, the University of Southern California, the Unit of Biocultural Variation and Obesity, the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, and the University of Oxford, and they all linked HFCS in causing higher type 2 diabetes. 20% higher in areas where HFCS is more accessible around the world, but there’s no evidence HFCS causes higher obesity compared to other sugars
