- 2.5 servings of Broccoli
- 1 serving of Garlic, raw (1 clove)
- 4 servings of Chicken Breast
- 1 serving of Onions, raw (1 small)
- 1 serving of Peppers, sweet, red, raw (1 small)
- 0.66 servings of Honey (1 tbsp)
- 1 serving of Less Sodium Soy Sauce
- 0.66 servings of Seeds, sesame seeds, whole, dried (1 tbsp)
- 4 servings of Oil, sesame, salad or cooking (1 tsp)
Recipe Description
1 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tsp honey
4 tsp sesame oil
1 lg bunch brocolli
1 onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced, or 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
1 lb sliced cooked chicken breast
2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
1.Combine soy sauce and honey in small bowl. Set aside. Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium high heat. Add brocolli and garlic. Cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Toss in chicken and soy sauce honey mixture. Heat thoroughly, remove from pan with tongs, and serve with steamed brown rice or whole wheat couscous. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
