Recipe Description

3/4 cup sugar, unpacked brown sugar, and unsweetened applesauce, each

1/3 cup fat free Greek yogurt

1 large egg

1/4 Simply Whites

1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup quick oats

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

3/4 cup raisins and chocolate chips, each

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat egg, whites, applesauce, vanilla, yogurt, and sugars in a large bowl.

In a medium bowl, combine flours, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to sugar mixture, until incorporated. Stir in oats, chips and raisins. Drop by scoopfuls (small black-handled scoop/1 Tbsp) onto cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden around the edges, switching racks halfway through cooking time. Let cool slightly and remove to a cooling rack.
